Hi I'm Joslyn in Beverly Hills-thanks for joining us right here on ClevverTV. Disney's hit show Hannah Montana is set to make it's big screen debut on April 10th and new music from the movie's soundtrack has got fans buzzing about the upcoming flick.
"Hannah Montana: The Movie" is sure to be a huge hit in theaters this spring and will be a reprisal of Miley Cyrus' split role as Miley Stewart and her stage alter ego of Hannah Montana. The TV show that sparked one of Disney's most successful projects ever is still running AND according to insiders it will continue airing for at least one more season.
Disney couldn't turn down the opportunity to take the TV hit to the box offices, and it's a pretty familiar step. If you remember The Jonas Brothers have a 3d film coming to theaters very soon as well.
The highly anticipated movie will follow Hannah Montana as her popularity begins to take over her life. The craziness of Hannah's fame leads her father, who is played by Billy Ray Cyrus, to urge her to take a trip to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective and figure out what really matters in life.
After arriving in her hometown, Miley decides to attend her friend Lily's birthday party as her alter ego Hannah Montana, which doesn't go so well when Hannah gets more attention than the birthday girl. The film also promises a romantic twist when Miley falls for Travis Brody, a boy from Tennessee, who is played by Lucas Till.
All in all the film promises to be more the Miley that we all love! And there will be cameos from Hollywood heavyweights like Tyra Banks and Vanessa Williams. One person not appearing in the film is Dolly Parton. Parton was offered to play the role of Miley's aunt but she turned it down. Miley's Grammy performing partner Taylor Swift penned a song entitled "Dreamer" which will also be featured in a restaurant scene in the movie. In the film, Miley rides horses and even sleeps on top of a chicken coop in the film. And after some time spent in at her first home, Miley realizes that she has the best of both worlds, but now she has to choose. SO if you guys had to pick for her, what would you do?
