*I caught this film on TV last week, and yes, it did get weird - but in a good way! A very funny satire on the film industry, a smushy romance, a melodrama with reincarnation and ghosts thrown in, song and dance, a parade of "hot girls" (though none could quite match Deepika,) , they threw everything into this one!
So what's not to like? Take a film for what it is, not what it isn't and never tried to be. I couldn't pick where this one was headed, a rare thing these days.

My opinion is that this movie was great, and that I loved it.

I had cleared it up 3-4 months ago, but someone decided to bring it back up and I cleared it yet again, that I love this movie.

There are many fantastic movies that never made it.. And there are many RIDICULOUS movies like this which did!

A super weak movie like OM SHANTI OM will never be remembered like many other mediocrely made movies that went on to unfortunately become blockbusters. such as RAJA HINDUSTANI , Many of Govindas ridiculous movies, many of DICKSHITS ridiculous movies... etc.
