For the first time, Anil Kapoor and Bollywood
bombshell Mallika Sherawat will be coming together in a
film. They will be acting in Darna Zaroori Hai which has seven different
stories, directed by seven directors.
The Anil and Mallika story will be directed by Jijy Philips of My Wife.s Murder fame. Director Prawal Raman is shooting the story with Arjun Rampal. Debutant director Vivek Sinha will be directing another story for the same film.
Suniel Shetty, Sonali Kulkarni and Rajpal Yadav have been confirmed to play the lead roles for Sinha.s story.
Scriptwriter Manish Gupta will be directing child star Shweta Prasad and the one directed by Sajid Khan stars Manoj Pawa. Director Chekravarty will be directing Sushmita Sen.s love interest Randeep Hooda.
Darna Zaroori Hai includes seven short fantasy-horror stories. Ram Gopal Varma will direct Amitabh Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh.
The Ram Gopal Varma camp is keeping quiet about Anil and Mallika coming together since they want it to be a surprise.
However, an assistant director with the production house confirmed that the two of them were in fact acting together.

Sania Mirza came as a breath of fresh air to
Indian sports fans this year.
For once, the cricketers were not the only ones in the
spotlight.
The entire nation became engrossed by a string of
records and big achievements by a young teenager who dared to achieve what she
said she had set out to do.
She started the year ranked world number 169 but all
that changed after a memorable match against Serena Williams at the Australian
Open.

Reaching milestones
She became the first Indian to win a WTA event and the
first to reach the Fourth Round of a Grand Slam.
Then there was an upset over the US Open champion
Svetlana Kuznetsova at the Dubai Open. But the icing on the cake was a fourth
round appearance at the US Open against Maria Sharapova.
She lost in straight sets but by then the Hyderabad
Hurricane had taken the world by storm.
Under fire
But then she fought other battles as well when
religious fundamentalists insisted that Sania's success was fine but that the
length of her skirts was not.
"It's a very personal thing . what I wear, what I do
inside my home. What people should care about is what I do on the tennis court.
As long as I'm winning, people shouldn't care about whether my skirt is six
inches long or six feet long," she retorted to the criticism.
The media however didn't relent. A misquote on the
issue of pre-marital sex was blown out of proportion until Sania decided that
enough is enough.
She walked out of a press conference in anger over the
controversy over the comment on pre-marital sex.
Sania will begin the new year with a new coach and new
targets. First Indian and Asian woman to win a Grand Slam singles title would be
on the agenda for sure. If she can do that then the Hyderabadi Begum would mean
more to India than all the Nizam's jewels.
