Meera and fellow actress and rival Veena Malik made a lot of harsh comments about each other in interviews. Veena even stated that Meera threatened to throw acid on her face, but this could not be verified. Meera's personal assistant Mukhtar left Meera and started working with Veena, which caused Meera a lot of anger, and she even accused Veena of having an affair with Mukhtar.

Shes also made sweeping comments in public with her rivalry with Aishwarya Rai. After boldly commenting in an interview that "God knows what's wrong with the people in Pakistan who think so high of Rai, but in India the girl has lost all respect for herself", it seems Meera will actually be playing none other than, Aishwariya, herself, in an upcoming Bollywood film.

Meera it seems is oblivious of the impact of her statements. Unfortunately with the work ethic she's picked up here, Meera will probably never make it in Bollywood.
