"Mughal-e-Azam" or "Jism"? Pakistani actress Meera,
whose controversial kiss in Mahesh Bhatt's "Nazar" got her death threats and
headlines, is clear about which one she likes - "Jism".

"I have really liked bold themes like 'Jism' and 'Murder' and if I were to choose between 'Mughal-e-Azam' and these two movies, I would prefer 'Jism' and 'Murder', as they reflect contemporary reality," Meera, in India to promote "Nazar", told in an interview.
And every time she talks about the film, she defends that 'infamous' kiss with co-star Ashmit Patel.
"I fail to understand why such a hue and cry was raised over some intimate scenes in the movie. After all such scenes are a natural part of any modern romantic thriller," said Meera, 24, who is sometimes described as Pakistan's 'Aishwarya Rai'.
"Nazar" would be released May 20.
Her latest tirade is about "certain vested interests" whom she accuses of trying to scuttle the film which has been promoted as the first ever India-Pakistan co-production.
"After all, Pakistan is full of films showing all kinds of romance, intimate scenes and a lot of other sexy stuff, then why all the fuss over Nazar?," asks Meera.
"I am convinced that there is a certain lobby back home which is out to oppose any move towards promotion of peace and friendship between the two countries, and therefore they cannot digest this film either."
But Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, said Meera, was on her side.
"General Musharraf has been very encouraging. I met him once and he is all for anything and everything that could help to promote peace between the two neighbours."
The actress has another project coming up with Bhatt.
"My next Indian film is Mahesh Bhatt's 'Holiday' in which I play a Pakistani girl," she said.
